- BETA Club is doing a drive for the North Florida Animal Rescue. They are in need of donations of cat food, dog food and animal toys. Please bring in any unopened cat or dog food, and any unused animal toys. You may leave items at the front office or bring to Mrs. Harry or Mrs. Horton's room.
- BETA Club Induction ceremony will be Wednesday, 9/27, at 5, for all current and new members. Please arrive a few minutes early so it can begin on time. No jeans or shorts...dress pants and either nice collared shirts or shirts with ties, and dresses or skirts. It should be over no later than 6.
- Next BETA Club will meet on Monday, November 6, from 2:45 to 3:30 in the MPR.
Community Service Hours
Each member is required to complete a minimum of 5 community service hours each month. Hours cannot be paid and require an adult name/number who can verify your time. Ideas can be: helping an elderly neighbor in their yard; volunteering at a nursing home, animal shelter, church nursery, Boys Ranch Opportunity Store, the library, Local Life or the Pregnancy Crisis Center. Get creative and really make an effort to serve and improve your community. Community service logs are due to a sponsor (Harry, Morris, West) no later than January 31, 2017. Forms are available on Mrs. Harry's door, room 907 in the vocational wing.

Community Out Reach
Beta Club Members brought a little sunshine to the residents at the Surrey Place Center.
On Saturday, students went to visit for a few hours. During this time they
enjoyed talking withseveral of the residents along with playing BINGO.
